Pete Kaiser

Reigning K300 Champion Pete Kaiser was born and raised in Bethel. He is the first winner of the K300 triple crown, having also won the Bogus Creek 150 and 2008 and the Akiak Dash in 2005.  Pete has competed in the K300 seven times. He earned the Best in the West award twice (’09 and ’13), Sportsmanship Award in 2010, and has finished in the Top-10 in six of his seven finishes.   Kaiser is a 6-time Iditarod finisher, which includes two Top-10 finishes (’11 and ’12).  Pete was the 2013 Paul Johnson Memorial Race Champion and 2011 Kobuk 440 Champion.  His family includes fiance Bethany, three-year old son Ari, mom Janet, father Ron, and sister Tillie,.
